At 34 Degrees we believe in sustainable environmental practices.

Whether it’s the vines and trees we use in our vases and platters, the dyes and colours

used on our botanicals and the shells we have collected from across Asia.

Our shells and coral are collected from designated collection areas

from fish farms and developed areas.

WE DO NOT PURCHASE ANY SHELLS OR CORAL FROM DEEP SEA DIVERS

FROM REEFS OR RESTRICTED AREAS.

NOR DO OUR SUPPLIERS DESTROY LAND/BEACHES TO COLLECT

THE SHELLS OR CORAL

All our products come from two main sources.

Designated collection areas – these areas are specifically for shell collection.

Fish/seafood farms where stock is bred and raised and the meat

used with the shells collected as residue.

Stock numbers are monitored and restrictions apply to quantities harvested.

Our suppliers all adhere to a strong conviction that shells and sea-life must be sustained to ensure good environmental results and the ongoing economic benefit this industry

brings to the regions impoverished residents.

This is why at various times some shells and sizes are unavailable as we monitor

and maintain good stock levels to ensure that each species will be around

long after we have gone...Tracey
